i managed to work out what pachinko was all about / loose 3000 yen at it. essentially you've got a vague amount of control over these little silver balls that fly up from the bottom and run down through those pins (like the handmade pin ball games of old). if a ball goes in the hole in the middle, you get 5 more. this happens very rarely.
